My name is Nabaa AlNatei, and I say this with great pride: I am a graduate of Gulf University, where I majored in Interior Design Engineering. Despite the many challenges I faced during my studies—both psychologically and personally—I persevered. I was not only a student but also a mother, balancing the demands of my education with the responsibilities of family life. There were many external obstacles, but with determination and the support of my professors, I was able to push through.
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the faculty members in the Engineering Department, whose dedication to their students helped me maintain a high standard of academic performance. They were committed to ensuring that we, as students, received comprehensive and valuable knowledge.
Upon graduating, I felt proud of the distinguished degree I earned from Gulf University. The unique program, which combines both interior and architectural design, gave us the advantage of having expertise in two areas with a single degree. This specialization significantly increased our employability and gave us a competitive edge in the job market. I am deeply proud of the education I received, and after graduation, I had the opportunity to work as an engineer in some of the most prestigious design offices.
Even as I progress in my career, I continue to focus on self-development. I regularly take courses related to my specialization and have worked in various fields within the industry to further enhance my skills and knowledge.
I am also extremely grateful to Dr. Muhannad Al-Mashhadani, the President of Gulf University, whose leadership and open-door policy have been a source of inspiration for all students. His support and genuine care for the student body made a significant impact on my journey. Additionally, I would like to thank the Registration and Administration Department for their unwavering patience and understanding, always standing by students, especially during challenging times.
To those considering a career in Interior Design Engineering, my message is simple: don’t give up. Keep pushing forward, no matter the challenges you face, because every obstacle is temporary. I wholeheartedly believe that Gulf University is the ideal place to study engineering, based on my own experience. Success does not come easily, but with hard work and perseverance, it is within reach.
