In a bold move to promote academic excellence and innovation, Gulf University has completed a specialized training program to enhance the skills of its faculty and administrative teams in artificial intelligence (AI). This initiative, in partnership with the American Schulz Group, aims to elevate the quality of education by integrating AI into modern teaching strategies, improving both the student experience and operational efficiency.
The program focused on equipping faculty members with advanced tools for using AI in curriculum design, student performance evaluation, and the development of more interactive and innovative teaching methods. It also included hands-on training on AI applications such as data analytics, virtual assistants, and intelligent content design. Over the course of 60 intensive hours, participants were guided by international AI and educational technology experts, who delivered workshops on the latest trends and innovations in the field.
This training is part of Gulf University’s broader strategy to drive digital transformation and create a smart academic environment. By incorporating AI into education, the university seeks to enhance both educational efficiency and the learning experience while preparing students for the digital job market. The program also aims to harness data analytics and advanced educational content to boost academic performance.
Gulf University president, Professor Mohanad Al-Firas, emphasized the university’s commitment to advancing education through the integration of modern technologies. “Our focus is on leveraging artificial intelligence as a strategic tool to enhance teaching quality and empower students to engage with course material in innovative ways,” he said.
At the conclusion of the program, 60 faculty members and administrators were awarded certificates in recognition of their participation and efforts. Additionally, Dr. Sadiq Bilal and Walid Al-Fezzani were honored with the Best Group Award for their outstanding presentation and successful implementation of the AI in Education project.
