The Gulf University held a successful open day in which it received prospective students and their parents. The event featured a full waiver of registration fees and comprehensive information about the varied academic programs offered by the university.
The Open Day punctuated several distinct events, met with great interaction and broad student acceptance as students had the opportunity to learn more closely about the university’s evolving learning environment and available academic facilities, as well as receive advice from faculty members about different disciplines. Campus tours have been offered to view modern laboratories and facilities that support students’ academic careers.
Commenting on the event, Dr. Hisham Al-Masarfawi, Vice-President of the Gulf University, said: “We are proud to organize this open day that gives students and their parents an opportunity to learn about the University closely. The waiver of registration fees is also part of our commitment to facilitate students’ access to higher education and encourage them to take their first steps towards a bright academic future. “
During the event, the Gulf University provided valuable gifts to students from several partners, including Amarat, Hassan World, Ramli Complex, Al Dana Complex and Al Madad Company. The university also provided special gifts to students in bicycles, as part of its commitment to encourage students to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle.
During the current year, the Gulf University has opened the Digital Advertising and Marketing Programme in cooperation with Northampton University in the United Kingdom and is awarded a certified certificate by the United Kingdom in this specialty. The University also offers other academic programs in collaboration with Northampton University, such as a bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering.
The Gulf University offers a variety of prestigious colleges offering high-quality academic programs. Among them are all law, which provides a distinct educational environment for the study of local and international laws, engineering college, which offers various engineering programs such as internal design engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, and mechanical engineering. The university also includes all communication and media technologies, which offer advanced programs in digital media and public relations, and the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences, which offers programs in human resources management, accounting and finance.
It should be noted that the University has institutional accreditation and all its programmes are trusted by the Education and Training Quality Authority, IET Associate Membership Certificate from the Engineering and Technology Foundation of the United Kingdom “The Institution of Engineering and Technology”, and membership of the Association of Colleges of Journalism and Mass Media ASJMC, the accreditation of the Royal British Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) as the media at the Gulf University is the second academic programme outside the United Kingdom to receive this accreditation. The University has also obtained international AASCB membership and accreditation by the Association of Chartered Accountants of Britain (ACCA A).
