As part of the 23rd-anniversary celebrations of the National Action Charter, the National Charter Monument hosted the remarkable “Light and Charter” event, featuring a panel discussion titled “A Charter that Opened Horizons: The Role of the National Action Charter in Advancing Women,” led by H.E. Shaikha Mariam bint Hassan Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Women. The event saw notable attendance from high-ranking officials, including H.E. Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi, Minister of Public Affairs at the Royal Court, and H.E. Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Minister of Information.

At the opening of the event, H.E. Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi delivered a speech commending the remarkable achievements realized under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, emphasizing the comprehensive development journey in the Kingdom and the role of the National Charter Monument as a living memory that embodies Bahrain’s rich history.

In this solemn atmosphere, the participation of Gulf University law students was both active and distinguished. They offered valuable insights that enriched the discussion, reflecting their understanding of the significance of the National Action Charter and its role in fostering progress and development, particularly in empowering women. This participation underscores the constructive role that Bahraini youth and students play in shaping the Kingdom’s future, inspired by the spirit of the National Charter, which remains a fundamental pillar for work and achievement in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
