Four sessions were held during the conference as follows:
First session:
Legislation and general concepts of the right to the environment and human rights.
Second session:
Experiences of national human rights institutions in preserving the right to the environment.
Third session:
The role of official entities in preserving the right to the environment.
Fourth session:
Human activity and solutions to preserve biodiversity.
Closing session: Discussions and recommendations.
The university’s participation in this conference represents an opportunity to contribute to the exchange of ideas and experiences with representatives of governments, institutions, and international organizations, aiming to enhance environmental-related human rights and work towards preserving a healthy and sustainable environment.
At the end of the conference, a concluding statement was issued, which includes final recommendations aimed at enhancing and promoting the right to the environment through international cooperation and adopting effective environmental policies and legislation. This prominent participation is an important step towards raising awareness of the importance of human rights in the environment and enhancing them at both the national and international levels.”
