Teaching & Learning Statement
Ms. Maryam has always believed in the power and impact of education and believes it to be the key to long-term success. Therefore, I want to share the experience and knowledge I gained with my students by providing a learning experience where all students feel valued and supported and get all they need in their career life and the desire to make a difference in the world. My teaching methods follow active learning and engagement, and real-world relevance to prepare them for the challenges and opportunities they will face in the real world.
Experience
A passionate educator and trainer with more than 6 years of experience as a creative director and digital media specialist, possessing a wide range of skills in digital media, graphic design, and marketing, utilizing Adobe software. Worked with over 65 clients from Bahrain and the GCC, from small businesses to large corporations, on projects ranging from social media management to content production, branding, photography, videography, marketing campaigns, game design, consultation, and training. As an academic teaching at Gulf University, I delivered courses such as graphic design, interactive media, editing, advertising campaigns, and media production for public relations. Recognized with the Excellence in Teaching and Learning Award for the academic year 2024/2025. Also managed the university’s media center, covering numerous events and training students in media production.
