The Advisory Board of the Mechanical and Electrical & Electronic Engineering Programs held its 2nd periodic meeting.
Mechanical and Electrical & Electronic Engineering Departments conducted their 2nd meeting with the Advisory Board, the meeting was chaired by Prof. ISA Qamber with Dr. Walid El-Fezzani, the coordinator of the Advisory Board Council. Attended this meeting also the respected guests, Dr. Osama Al-Rawi, Dean of the College of Engineering and Mr. Amr Moussa, Lab Technician of the Mechanical Engineering Department.
Advisory Board Members have a tour of the Engineering labs, workshop and the library at the Gulf University to gain more knowledge about GU facilities and infrastructures.
The members along with the coordinator and guests discussed many topics such as the new program’s Marketing, Students’ internship, and Research Collaboration and mentioned as well the Engineering Conference ICSEAT that will be held on 8th & 9th May 2024.
The members confirmed that they can help by providing mentorship and support to students, helping them to navigate their academic and career paths. This support can be career advice and other resources that can help students succeed both during and after their time at the university.
