Gulf University’s College of Law Shines at the International Conference on Corporate Law in Italy

In a prominent academic event, the College of Law at Gulf University made a distinguished contribution to the international conference titled “New Trends in Corporate Law from a Comparative Perspective,” held from January 23 to 28, 2024, at the University of Luigi Vanvitelli in Campania, Italy.

At this international academic gathering, Dr. Hisham Saeed Al-Osi, Head of the Department of Legal Studies at Gulf University’s College of Law, delivered an in-depth presentation on the Bahraini corporate law framework in comparison to international corporate laws. He highlighted how Bahraini legislators address establishment and liquidation procedures under the 2018 amendments, showcasing Bahrain’s alignment with the latest global regulations.

Alongside his active participation in the conference sessions, Dr. Al-Osi enriched the attendees with his expertise through specialized workshops organized for Ph.D. students at the University of Campania’s School of Law. On January 24, he delivered lectures on private international law from a comparative perspective, and on January 25, he discussed Islamic finance and institutions in a comparative study for doctoral students. These sessions proved to be a source of inspiration and knowledge for participants.
