The Community Engagement and Continuing Education Center at Gulf University recently visited the Al-Hekma Retired Society to strengthen ties and explore collaborative opportunities. Al-Hekma, a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for retirees in Bahrain, offers various activities and services aimed at fostering social and personal development.
During the visit, Dr. Marwan Milhem, Director of the Community Engagement Center at Gulf University, and Mr. Sannad Mohamad Sannad, Secretary General of Al-Hekma Retired Society, agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU). This partnership seeks to establish a sustainable framework for collaboration in community service and continuous education.
The collaboration aims to deliver educational and training programs tailored for retirees, while also organizing joint community initiatives that promote intergenerational communication, skill development, and social awareness.
This strategic partnership underscores a shared commitment to serving the Bahraini community. By leveraging their combined strengths, Gulf University and Al-Hekma Retired Society strive to create meaningful impacts, enhance social and educational opportunities, and foster deeper community engagement for a brighter future.
