In a significant gathering of prominent legal figures, the Third Annual Conference of the Gulf Lawyers Association took place under the theme “The Future of the Legal Profession in the GCC in Light of Technological Advancements.” Prof. Firas Mohammed Ibrahim, Dean of the College of Law at Gulf University, was among the notable participants. The conference was held at the Crowne Plaza Convention Center in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain.
In a session titled “The Future of the Legal Profession in Light of Technological Advancements,” Prof. Firas Mohammed presented a working paper titled “Harnessing Artificial Intelligence in the Legal Profession: Opportunities for Transformation and Innovation in the GCC.” The paper discussed how AI can enhance efficiency and productivity, analyze large data sets, and improve access to justice within the legal field.
The event was also attended by Dr. Hisham Saeed, Head of the Legal Studies Department at the College of Law. At the close of the conference, Prof. Firas Mohammed was honored for his valuable contribution to this important event.
