The cooperation between the College of Engineering, Gulf University, and Bahrain Society of Engineers focuses on organizing workshops and conferences; supporting the college team to identify sponsorship in events. The collaboration also promotes the participation of engineering faculty at Gulf University and distinguished members of the Bahrain Society of Engineers in seminars, presentations, and guest lectures along with the exchange of jurors in competitions and exhibitions in and outside Bahrain.

AFCAR Incubator for Engineering Enterprises helps startups with funding by connecting them with investors, venture capitalists, and other funding sources.

The partnership between the College of Engineering and FabLab Bahrain focuses on training and education services to equip students with using digital fabrication tools to develop their own products. This collaboration provides opportunities for the students and staff to create prototypes of their product design using various digital fabrication tools available at the lab. Further, the cooperation opens opportunities for guest speaker talks, internships, site visits, and workshops for the students in the Engineering discipline.

International Council of Design (ico-D)

The International partnership between the College of Engineering, Gulf University, and ICO-D is targeted to attend meetings and offer its participants a unique opportunity to connect and discuss issues related to the design situation in the Middle East and internationally—to create links between organizations, to discuss common challenges, and to open avenues for collaboration. The collaboration also brings together a cross-section of design industry actors to address local challenges to the development of the design sector—in an international context recognizing the impact of globalization.
