Visitor Students

Visiting Student

The visiting student is a regular student in his university, but s/he attends certain courses temporarily at Gulf University. This does not require his transfer to GU.         

Conditions of acceptance:

  1. To be a regular student in an accredited university or to be accepted according to the admission conditions and regulations.
  2. To be recommended by his university to study specific courses. Besides, his grades will be sent directly to his or her university after the completion of the courses.

Documents required for visiting students:

  1. A letter to the dean of registration and admission at Gulf University from the department of specialization at the student’s university. The letter should include the courses that should be studied at GU.
  2. A photo copy of the student passport.
  3. A photo copy of the student ID
  4. Documents and certificates if s/he is not enrolled in another university.

 Registration fees for visiting students:

  1. The student is required to pay the tuition fees during registration.
  2. Registering as a visiting student does not require the acceptance of the student as a regular GU student or transfer him or her to Gulf University.
  3. If the courses were offered in regular GU students were enrolled the fees for visiting students will be doubled
  4. If the courses were not offered for that semester and a class will be opened especially for the visiting student, the fees will be four times more for each credit hour.
